The Lakes Region provides a variety of activities and attractions - a water park, water skiing, boating excursions, fishing, horseback riding, scenic railroad trips, golfing, sightseeing, spectacular mountain vistas, wildlife and nature walks, and, of course, tax-free shopping in the many outlet malls in the vicinity. Late May, early June promises the best small-mouth bass fishing you'll ever experience. Mid-June, Laconia hosts the world famous motorcycle week and Loudon Classic with seven full days of events. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races are held at nearby New Hampshire Motor Speedway early, mid and late summer.
